AACR 2015: Major Symposium: Proteogenomic Analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Tumor Samples

The Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) has completed the generation of deep proteomic analysis on genomically characterized tumors from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). The resulting data from three cancer types - colorectal, breast and ovarian, has revealed new molecular subtype classifications and identified novel non-genomic drivers with possible targets and pathways of cancer detection and intervention. This session is dedicated to presenting the results of the deep proteomic analyses of these cancer types (with genomic integration), and helping cancer scientists learn how to access the high-throughput data sets from CPTAC.
