NCI Requests Targets for Monoclonal Antibody Production and Characterization

In an effort to provide well-characterized monoclonal antibodies to the scientific community, NCI's Antibody Characterization Program requests cancer-related protein targets for affinity production and distribution.

Submissions will be accepted through July 9, 2012.

The program from The Office of Cancer Clinical Proteomics Research provides reagents and other critical resources that support protein/peptide measurements and analysis. Requests will be reviewed and considered for merit based on their justification and contribution to existing NCI-funded projects. Priority will be given to projects applying the antibodies to proteomics research.

Successful applicants will be notified on or before August 30, 2012. All materials (such as proteins/peptides) must be ready and available when a request is submitted. For more information and the application form, please go to NCI's Antibodies Data Portal at antibodies.cancer.gov.
